Goodyear's MT/R is Maximum Traction/Reinforced. Standard equipment on ‘03-‘06 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, the Goodyear MT/R is truly a state-of-the-art off-road tire. Three-ply sidewall and advanced silica compound provides excellent durability and puncture resistance. Advanced tread pattern provides increased element and lug stiffness, and uniform wear. MT/Rs have proven their mettle on the slick rock of Moab and in the Goodyear Extreme Rock Crawling Nationals. Goodyear has performed extensive testing for MT/R's durability and off-road performance on California's Rubicon Trail since 1999.
